What life is like in the land of Utah

Here are a few pretty recent photos:
This was one family home evening where we went to Glyndon Park. I am pretty glad we didn't take this car treking west! It would have been pretty squooshy :)!

A Cute one of Jeannine and I when I GRADUATED!!
We went to visit Sarah and Paul in St. Louis on our drive out west and got to see their temple! It was so much fun!
My last chance to spend fun memories with some good friends! We went to Ocean City for a couple of days and had a blast!!

My two best friends, Saya and Ann Louise. I love them both.

We arrived in Utah from a LONG car road trip accross the U.S. on tuesday the 29th of July. I was impressed with the amazing sites we saw in St. Louis Missouri, Nauvoo, Illinois, Omaha, Nebraska, Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, and BYU-Idaho. Besides the sites, the United States has a lot of beautiful nature to offer. I had a wonderful time on this trek west just observing the many miles of fields and farmland, but also the terrain the feilds were on. We saw many glorious sunsets, lots of cows and horses, LOTS of corn and other plants grown in fields, and many natural beauties like the badlands in SD and the Rockies in the west. So much diversity; So much beauty lie in the United States. So I had a wonderful time.

As for here in Utah, I have found it hard to really put my heart and soul in anything. Life is different here in Utah, and it has taken a while for me to adjust to it. I had this big plan to learn and get good at the guitar and cello before I go off to school. However, I have found many ways out of commiting myself to anything, sadly. So for now, I am going to the gym with Jeannine, visiting relatives in Utah, unpacking boxes, reading books, and missing my friends back east.

Jeannine and I decided on Sunday that we hate being the "New guys" at church. We hardly talk to any of the single adults in this ward, I guess because they haven't made much effort to talk to us! I have found it hard to make new friends. Though, I know I will have so many more opportunities of that when I go to BYU-I!

Hooray! I'm so happy that you have a blog now! I will add your link to my blog.

It was fun to read all about your trip west and how things have been going since you've been in Utah. So what's the countdown until school starts? When's the earliest you can move in to your new dorm? Did you get to see where you'll be living on your trip?

Oh, also- I need your google address so I can re-invite you to our blog!
